1. How much can I afford to spend on my carpet flooring?
This is the first question to ask as your budget will seriously affect the quality and type of carpets you can get. Carpet is available from large department stores, furniture and carpet showrooms and local flooring companies. Some suppliers will bring samples to your house and do some measurements before quoting a price. If you plan to visit a showroom, remember to bring along your house floor print or a simple sketch plan to show them the dimensions.
